The year was 2002. Pink was telling us to “Get the Party Started.” John Jackson won the Makeup Oscar for giving Salma Hayek a unibrow in the movie “Frida.” And a tornado ripped the roof off of Sport Graphics. But once the clouds cleared and the debris settled, there were still orders to be filled. So the very next day, we opened our doors. It just so happened that we had a lot more natural light. Luckily it wasn’t raining and all of our orders still made it out the doors, even though one of the doors was on top of our delivery truck. We’ve been beating the buzzer for over 20 years, and at least this time, Mother Nature too.
